    Day 01: Arrive Chennai
    Welcome upon arrival at Chennai airport and transfer to hotel for check in. Chennai (formerly known as Madras), is known for its cultural heritage & temple architecture. Overnight at Hotel 

    Day 02: Chennai – Mahabalipuram (70 km - 02 hrs)
    Today we take a tour of Chennai, visiting Fort St. George, St. Mary's Church, Fort Museum, National Art Gallery. Later drive to Mahabalipuram, town of temples, sand & sea. It is world renowned for its beautiful Shore Temple & other temples. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel.
    Overnight at hotel 

    Day 03: Mahabalipuram - Excursion to Kanchipuram (70 km - 02 hrs/one way)
    Today, after breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Mahabalipuram, visiting Shore Temple, one of the oldest temples in South India. Rathas, monolithic temples fashioned as chariots. Then proceed for day excursion to Kanchipuram, is one of the seven holy cities in the country. It was a city of learning for both Tamil & Sanskrit.It is also known for its temples & silk sarees. Visit Kailasanatha Temple, built in 8th Century AD.  Later visit Ekambaranatha, ancient temple is dedicated to lord Shiva. Later visit Kamakshi Amman Temple. Evening return to Mahabalipuram

    Day 04: Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry (140 Kms/03 hrs)
    After early breakfast, drive to Pondicherry. A unique thing about Pondicherry is that it spreads into several states. Upon arrival check in the hotel. In the afternoon visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Church of Our Lady of the Angels, the Sacred Heart Basilica, The Goubert market etc. by Auto Rickshaws (TUK –TUK). Overnight at Hotel.

    Day 05: Pondicherry –Tanjore  via Chidambaram (168 kms- 04 hrs)
    Today we drive to Tanjore by En-route visit CHIDAMBRAM, famous for its NATARAJA TEMPLE. Chidambaram is a temple town situated in Tamil Nadu around 58 km off Pondicherry. Later visit “Gangaikonda Cholapuram Shiva Temple’ which is famous UNESCO world Heritage Site. 
    Arrive and check-in to the hotel. Overnight at hotel 

    Day 06: Tanjore - Madurai via Trichy (200 km - 04 hrs)
    After breakfast proceed for sightseeing Tanjore visit Brihadeshwara temple, also known as Big Temple. Later drive to Madurai en route we stop at Trichy, which has very historic temples, monuments & churches. First we will visit Srirangam Temple, surrounded by the waters of the River Kaveri on one side. Later visit Rockfort most famed landmark is an 83 m high rock which is the only outcrop in the otherwise flat land of the city. Overnight at hotel

    Day 07: Madurai
    Morning after breakfast proceed for city tour covering -Meenakshi Temple, TIRUMALAI NAYAK MAHAL, GANDHI MUSEUM . Evening aarti ceremony at Sri Meenakshi Temple. Overnight at hotel

    Day 08: Madurai – Periyar (136 kms /04 hrs)
    Today we drive to Periyar, which is the famous wildlife sanctuary in South India and has also been declared as a Tiger Reserve. Afternoon enjoy boat ride at Periyar lake. Overnight at hotel

    Day 09: Periyar – Alleppey (175 Kms/04 hrs)
    Morning visit spice plantation walking tour. After breakfast check-out from hotel and drive to Alleppey. Arrive and transfer to jetty point to board at Houseboat- locally called Kettuvallam, cruise around beautiful backwaters of Alleppey to Alleppey to observe & experience the daily life of the villagers along the backwaters. Overnight in Houseboat 

    Day 10: Alleppey – Cochin  (65 Kms/1.5 hrs)
    After breakfast approx 0900 hrs, disembark your houseboat at Alleppey and drive to Cochin. Check-in at hotel upon arrival. Overnight at hotel

    Day 11: Cochin
    After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Cochin visit The Dutch Palace (closed on Fridays) at Mattancherry is renowned for its wall murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana. The Jewish Synagogue at the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town (Closed on Saturdays & Jewish Holidays. The St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. The Santa Cruz Basilica originally built in 1557 by the Portuguese. The Chinese fishing nets are huge cantilevered fishing nets believed to have brought to Kochi by Chinese trade. 
    In the evening witness “the world famous Kathakali performance “at a local theatre. Overnight at hotel

    Day 12: Departure Cochin
    After breakfast, transfer to airport board flight to onwards destination.
